The otherworld story began on a late summer’s afternoon many years ago during a routine cooking session. The constant inefficiencies of food waste being discarded rather than upcycled, reused and recycled flabbergasted us. From this moment on, we decided that everything we did needed to be more efficient and sustainable. The idea of wasting energy, time and resources for mediocre returns was something of the past.
We took this newfound spirit and incorporated it into existing and future retail and corporate workspaces, that revolved around the future of people, business and how these two could coexist and develop to become less wasteful, with increased sustainability and returns. We aim to make workspaces a place for employees to unlock their full potential and to treat their workspace as more than just a pitstop on their way home, built on colour, temperature, atmosphere and a sense of belonging to an organisation worthy of their time and effort.
